Regular Season Round 19: Mornar - Mega BG 83-113

Very expected game when 16th ranked MontenegrinMornar (1-19) was smashed by ninth ranked Serbian Mega BG (9-10) in Bar 113-83 on Saturday. Mega BG dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Mornar 's 36 and made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Mornar 34-20 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mega BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Mornar 's players. It was an exceptional evening for guard Mihailo Petrovic (190-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists. Bosnian forward Filip Jovic (204-2005) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. Croatian point guard Roko Rogic (187-1992) came up with 13 points and 8 assists and American guard Noah Thomasson (190-2001, college: Georgia) added 13 points respectively for Mornar in the defeat. Five Mega BG and four Mornar players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mega BG maintains ninth place with 9-10 record, which they share with FMP BG. Mornar lost their thirteenth game in a row. They stay dead last with 19 lost games.
